Hello Pouce Coupe. I am writing my breakout novel and one of my characters lives in your wonderful town. I chose Pouce Coupe becasue of the town's location, it's size and of course that fantastic name. Trvel to Poue Coupe is not possile at this time, but I intend to make it there in the near future. I am looking for the name(s) of the local diner(s) and items listed on the menu, the name of the clothing and hardware store and the intersting historical tidbits or legends surrounding the area. If anyone could help I would be grateful. Hoping to hear from you soon. SMD

After the first ww Cecil moved to Pouce Coupe and married Florence Mary Miller in 1922 Oct 25. He died in Mile 133 Alaska Highway 21 Oct 1953. Does anyone have anymore information about this family?

Hello, I am doing some genealogic research on a few names of people who resided in Pouce Coupe in and around the 1930s. Names are: Rachel Ferguson Hall Moran, daughter Helen Moran b. 1926, John Tudor, Muriel Hall Tudor Morrison, daughter Margaret (Peggy) Tudor, and Charles and Ellen Hall Henderson. If you recognize any of these people, please post! Also if anyone knows of any old books on Pouce Coupe the sisters above ran a restaurant there. Many thanks. Sandy

My great grandfather was Hector Tremblay, the founder of Pouce Coupe. My grandfather was Rodolf Tremblay and his daughter, Evelyn was my mother. My grandfather told me many years ago that there is Cree Indian in our family. Is there anyone alive who would know if this is true? Thank you.

Hi I live in Havelock, Ontario and was born in Apsley, Ont. My dad was born in Apsley his name was Gerald Hazen Whitmore. My parents were divored and I moved from Whitehorse, Yukon when I was about 11 years old, never seen my dad again. He passed away in 1971 in Pouce de Coupe. I think he had a family up there, was wondering if maybe I have any half sisters or brothers or if his partner is still alive. If anyone has any information please let me know, thanks, Paula

Not sure why, but today I felt the urge to check out my old childhood places. I was born in Dawson Creek (1986) but we lived in Pouce on a big acreage. It was a beautiful log house. We lived there til I was about 6 before moving away. I have not since been back to my old hometown. I would love one day though to bring my daughter there and see it again. Not sure if anyone remember my parents, Russ and Tammi Gardiner.
