STAGE 2 WATER CONSERVATION MEASURES

**NOW IN EFFECT**

Effective Friday, August 6th, and until further notice, the City of Dawson Creek and the Village of Pouce Coupe are under Stage 2 water conservation measures.

During this time lawn watering has been decreased to once per week and lawns may only be watered between 4 am and 9 am and 7 pm and 10 pm on Wednesdays for even numbered addresses and Thursdays for odd numbered addresses. Permits to water newly seeded or turfed areas can be purchased from the Engineering Department during regular City Hall office hours.

The public is also asked to refrain from washing vehicles and any other non-essential use of water during this time including operation of ornamental fountains and washing of outdoor surfaces.

STAGE "ONE" WATER CONSERVATION MEASURES
EFFECTIVE MAY 1 TO SEPTEMBER 30:

  • Even-numbered address watering days: Wednesdays and Saturdays between 4:00 am and 9:00 am, and beween 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm
  • Odd-numbered address watering days: Thursdays and Sundays beween 4:00 am and 9:00 am, and between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm
  • Hoses for washing boats and vehicles must have automatic shut-off devices
