Health Services

Northern Health is responsible for the delivery of health care across Northern British Columbia, including acute care, mental health, public health, addictions, and home and community care services. The Dawson Creek & District Hospital houses a full diagnostic and treatment centre for local and regional services. There is a complete range of in-patient services in medicine, surgery, obstetrics, psychiatry and rehabilitative medicine.

Also available is a wide range of out-patient services, including day surgery, 24/7 emergency room, x-ray, ultrasound, CT scan and laboratory services.

Physiotherapy, occupational and respiratory therapy services are also offered.
