The first wind farm in BC, Bear Mountain Wind Park is located less than 15km southwest of Dawson Creek, BC on top of Bear Mountain.  The site is a single row of 34 turbines, covering approximately 25 hectares.  The Wind Park will feature 34 Enercon E-82, 78 meter tall, to the hub, wind turbine generators, foundations, and adjoining crane pads.  From base to base, the turbines will be placed a minimum of 160 metres apart along the ridge of Bear Mountain.
